I’ve been taking my cars to Auto Air for service and repairs for years. They get things right the first time around, quickly, and at very fair price. Donny, the owner always calls before starting repairs to give me the best options. Whether it’s better to use new parts, fixing old ones, or modifying the old to better than factory, I’ve always come out ahead. Before I found Auto Air, it was very frustrating to pick up my vehicle, pay the dealer and later find out it wasn’t fixed right. Then I had to go back, waste another day knowing it should have been caught on final check out. That just does not happen at Auto Air. Maybe because I’ve heard Donny reminds his mechanics regularly to do a final check making sure everything’s working perfectly before it’s ready to pick up. My last visit was to replace head light covers on my 2009 RAV 4 that looked like amber tinted lenses instead of clear after years of discoloration. Wow what a difference at night! Job done perfectly. Bottom line: 5+ stars, done right the first time, fast, and at a fair price. You just won’t get a better value for your money. Highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Don and his team at Auto Air & Electric of Lee County. I came back to our winter place at the end of October 2021 after being away for 19 months because of COVID. Our SUV air conditioning was not working so I took it to a shop close to our place. They told me most of the refrigerant had leaked out. They said they dye-tested the system and the vehicle definitely had a leak in the evaporator as they could see dye coming from the evaporator drain tube and their “sniffer” could detect it in the air blowing from the vents. They quoted me $3,700 dollars to repair it. I wanted to get another opinion so I researched on the internet was impressed by the number of positive customer reviews for Auto Air & Electric so I made an appointment. Don’s team evaluated my vehicle and they did not detect a leak anywhere in the a/c system. Don said the time the car had sat without being driven might have led to the refrigerant leaking out but he did not want to repair anything until he knew exactly what needed repairing. He said the best thing to do would be to refill the refrigerant and add dye. This way if there was a leak now or at any time in the future it would clearly be visible and they would know where to repair it. Total price $229. I waited a week to write this review as I wanted to see what would happen. I am pleased to say that we have driven the vehicle every day, the air is still cold and I cannot see any dye on any of the air conditioner hoses, fittings, the compressor, or leaking from the evaporator drain tube. I was so impressed by Don’s honesty. I can see why they have so many positive reviews and I am pleased to add mine. When my vehicle next needs servicing for the a/c or anything else I will be driving the 30 minutes to Don’s shop as I truly appreciate dealing with a business I can trust.
