  We went with this company as they are backed by Lowes and needed a new HVAC system. Everything went well, however when it got cold the following year, the heat did not work. They failed to install the correct gas attachment so our propane would not kick in as it was looking for lp gas. That was repaired however if took several days to get the part. Scheduled routine service for 12/18 and no one showed, called Monday...they had something come up and it slipped his mind to call us and let us know they were not coming. Made another appointment for 1/8 yet again no one showed. We have called 2 times to see what the deal is, had to leave a voice mail both times and no returned calls. Reporting to Lowes as this is not the type of people they want to back service to. Still waiting for a call back!

  Sorry for the delay in submitting this review but I really wanted to put one in, regardless of the time past. My heat/ac unit had totally stopped working. Called a repair person. They came out-said my unit needed to be replaced-$7,000-cash-NOPE. And my unit needed to be turned OFF b/c it was sending the propane gas into my house. Yes you could smell it. Started calling other Heat/Air companies to get estimates. Got 3 more estimates--all of them said the same thing-"New Unit". All of the estimators told me that the gas coming into my home could potentially be deadly. They all had various estimates and available times for installation (weeks to months). What stood out with Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling was their COMPASSION for my situation and willingness to do what they could for me. Their estimate was comparable to the others-(basically) but their compassion was beyond compare. They were willing to work with me financially (who has 7 K sitting around ?) and they were going to help me right now. The weather was cold-I needed heat. That afternoon-they went and bought me 3 electric heaters to heat my home with. This was BEFORE i even told them that i would hire them for the job. They saw how miserable my son and I were. Made my decision easy! They didn't have the unit i needed--they sent an employee to Richmond that afternoon-to get the needed unit for installation the following morning. They were at my house by 8 am and putting in my new system. They were extremely professional, followed COVID standards and generally just wonderful, caring people. Thank you for reinforcing that humanity and compassion still exist

  I had more than one problem with my Trane heat pump. I called Atlantic Shores, and scheduled an appointment next business day. Technicians appeared exactly as scheduled, and promptly resolved all my issues. Service prices were absolutely reasonable to my opinion. Finally I decided to set up a service contract with them for next 12 months. All-in-all I would recommend Atlantic Shores Heating and Cooling to everyone looking for high quality affordable air conditioning services.
