Outstanding, honest service! Ashburn Air experts arrived on time (on a Saturday) and quickly diagnosed the problem with our furnace. After repairing the problem, the Ashburn Air experts were very thorough in ensuring that they had identified the problem with precision. There was no pressure to purchase anything that was not required and the price for the service was very reasonable.

Responsive. Quickly gave me a quote and repaired my furnace on the same day. Did not seem to do a very thorough job, not checking for gas leaks or gas pressure after repair. Tech seemed very pressured to finish his service and move on from his management. Price seemed competitive.

I was not charged a fair price for a freon recharge but they did come out quickly and address my issue. My friend was in HVAC and told me to be very careful as there is a lot of price gouging in this industry. I chose Ashburn Air after reading reviews here and was quite disappointed. They answered the phone early in the morning and came onsite a couple hours later. Furthermore, they did not push additional work by telling my I had additional problems that were not real. This is a big plus, which is why they are getting a good not a poor. I have a regular AC provider. He was out to recharge my freon several days earlier and left the vent unhooked because he planned to come back to check my freon levels. He never came back and my AC started freezing and I could not get in touch with him. So I had to find another provider. Thus my search which landed me here. Ashburn Air was onsite for about 30-45 minutes. They reassembled our vent, recharged the freon and listened for a leak. I was charged $300 for this service. While they were charging the system I asked about the price. I was told the normal price for this is $375 and I was getting a discount down to $300. This sounded steep so I did some quick research on the internet and found many posts suggesting this should cost about $125-$175 depending on the area and the amount of freon used. I asked them about this and was told that I was being charged a standard fair rate for a freon charge because freon is so expensive. My original provider showed up 2 days later and found that my freon levels were once again very low. He recharged 4.5 pounds of freon, pumped combo leak sealer to into the system to try to repair the leak. This didn't work but he then found and manually repaired 4 leaks on the coil, installed a new ignitor and put a sensor switch on my upstairs unit. Oh and I had 2 protective freon caps installed. All to the tune of $700. Furthermore, I told my original provider what I was charged for the work Ashburn Air did and he said I was ripped off and apologized for not being available. This confirmed my suspicion. I will not be back to Ashburn Air due to this.
