  WAY overpriced for service we got. $260 for the guy to take our filters out and wash them with our garden hose. He was nice and all, but will not use them again due to the outrageous fee.

  Please note: My 1-star rating is ONLY for their plumber service. Maybe even for a particular plumber. I would warn anyone to think twice if you need plumbing service in the West Lafayette area!!! You have a chance to get a plumber who will provide you: Poor quality work. Multiple late time reschedulings! Waste a LOT of time and money. (I purchased the ARS membership and am very happy with their service in the AC/Furnace tune-up. Responsive, professional, clean, that's why I decided to try their plumber service and it was a total nightmare!) I used their plumber service twice, with the same plumber who gave me a really bad experience. Task 1. Self-purchased water softener installation ($400+): re-done 3 times; properly installed after the third time During the installation process: went out shopping for materials twice. After the first day: no hot water and pipe was leaking. Called the plumber back. He turned the hot water back on and re-attached the pop-out pipe. Since the installation: the re-attached pipe popped out several times and left a big water pool underneath the water softener every time. We used tapes to temporarily fix it. (I was under the impression that it was supposed to be like that.) 6-month later: in the ARS AC tune-up, the AC person urged me to call someone in to fix the water softener's pipe. ARS sent a different plumber. He frowned upon the work and spent 2-3 hours re-did the pipeline. It works fine now. (Also, free of charge, I have to give credit to ARS on this.) With how ARS solved my water softener eventually in a pleasing way, I decided to contract with it again. Here is what I got: Task 2. Water pipe replacement/installation ($500+): a. Rescheduled 3 times: i. Scheduled window 1-5 p.m. Called at 12:16 p.m. saying that the plumber could not make it. ii. Scheduled window 1-5 p.m. Called at 3:29 p.m. claiming the plumber has a flat tire. b. Third time, when the original plumber showed up, he stayed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Did the following things: i. Understood the task and said that he needed to go shopping ii. Since the water pipe was behind the fridge, he needed to contact a colleague to help move the fridge. (I can move it by myself but he said he couldn't) iii. Waited till around 3 when the colleague showed up. He asked me to empty the fridge iv. Claimed that he could not shut off the water. Left. Suggested me to replace the water valve. Couldn't give me a quote and asked me to contact the water company. Today I hired a new plumber: he was able to shut off the water in the house and 1uoted $200-$300 for the same work. Wasted me 2 weeks to get a task not done and delay my fridge installation to next month. Complained to the company once, but today when I knew my water valve works fine, I am just too angry to keep it private.

  All I gotta say is DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL!! They never show up and now my family has no heat in our house!! We will definitely be going with a different heating company!!
