  I don't normally write reviews, but I feel that I need to on this one. Since We had a yearly service on our Boiler, we've experienced continuation of Vibrating noises that shake the entire house. I called the first time to look into having a tech come back and fix the system that was left with more problems than when they were here. I never received a call back that first time. I called a second time and I was transferred to service and the gentlemen I spoke to was nice and he wanted me to talk with his experienced Tech. I never got a call back from him or tech. I was then out of town and received a call from a tech that he was at our door for a service call. I let him know that I did not know he was coming and that nothing was scheduled so I didn't know why he was there.... I called ARC again and they said, they didn't know why tech went out, but they would send him back in the coming week, but didn't give me a day or time. Still no word from them, attempting to call again to set something up! - There has been very poor handling of service in this case unfortunately. ! Update: ARC continues to fail by communicating and resolving the issue. They keep throwing parts at a system stating that it would fix the issue, but it doesn't. As stated above after annual service of 4 hours, they send a very high invoice which was nearly $500. My question is why does an annual service take 4 hours, should be 1-2 max. Turns out for us the vibration was caused by the service and continues to have issues with and they want to continue to charge us for parts and time that have not fixed the issue and sending techs out with out notification. The system we have is 14 years old and well kept so there shouldn't be on going issues. Be very aware before you continue with arc mechanical.

  Not helpful. This company has a policy to not service air conditioning systems unless they are the ones who installed the system. The words the service tech used were "We do not service units that we do not install." It turns out this is a policy to prevent homeowners from installing their own mini split air conditioners. So if you are going to install one yourself, be prepared to charge the line. Buy a vacuum pump and a few tools -- it's not that hard to do.

  Dear Mr. McCarthy, Your review is very inaccurate to the conversation you had with our service department. You called us and wanted us to start up a new system you purchased and you installed. We explained to you we do not start up equipment purchased and installed by someone outside of our organization. Are you a qualified installer that we know 100% that you did things by the manufacturer specifications? Our company spends a lot of time investing in our people and their education so we know we are selling and installing a product we can back. It is simply our policy to not take on jobs like you requested. We never said and have never said we don't service or repair systems we did not install. We do that each and every day. As far as the driving issue we deeply apologize and wish you would call our office with a truck number so we can talk with our employee. We have a strict driving policy and have GPS in our vehicles to monitor the driving of our team.

  The technician was very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful. The fact he was friendly and personable was an added bonus. Not only did he fix our problem, but he was very instructive in ways to avoid it in the future.
