Absolutely the worst customer experience!!! Sent a technician. He did not tighten down the bolts to A/C unit and all freon leaked. Sent him back a second time. Same situation. Did the very bare minimum to get in/out. Escalated call. Sent Sr level electrician out. Identified the A/C issue was a part that was bad. Stated they would order the part and have it installed. On the date part was to be installed they stated “Part is not in, it will be another 4 days”. We have been living without A/C now for better than 2 weeks!! Had they identified the problem on the first call, wed not be living under these conditions in the HEAT OF SUMMER! Totally inadequate service. Absolute flippant attitude and customer service! Would NEVER recommend or use this service EVER AGAIN. Do not trust them, their technicians, or their quality of work.

If you are going to take the time to post a review you should make sure you are posting it to the proper company. We are Amp Electric Service, not Amp Electric & Mechanical Service. We do not do the Home Warranty Repairs. If you would have bothered to read on down our website you would have seen a statement that we do not do the repairs. Please post a correction.

Very dissatisfied. Technician came out, didn’t ring the doorbell and didn’t call us. Went out and looked at the WRONG UNIT, said it was working just fine, and completed our work order. Said that since he had been here before, he knew what the problem was, that our unit is too small for our house. This is not true, and doesn’t make sense, because when we bought the town house everything was to code. This man checked pressures on the wrong unit, and left. Our unit hasn’t been on for 3 days, so there’s no way it was working because it wasn’t on. If they had pursued the problem, instead of writing it off, they would have found that there was a major tear in the return air duct which was shooting all the cold air into our attic. This has since been fixed and we were calling about a different problem . He would have known this if he had asked. When I called to ask if the technician had come, the secretary was very rude to me and cut me short saying that the work order has been completed, therefore we need to call our warranty agency. This is not the first time, and will probably not be the last, but we will never use this company again.

August 2019.....I had a contract on a home that needed AC work. Basic work like servicing it. Cleaning the outside coils and adding freon. At closing I was presented a receipt for work done on the AC unit. Even though I could hardly read the writing on the receipt I accepted it thinking quality work was done. WRONG! I don't believe AMP mechanical even looked at the unit. TERRIBLE company. Insist that you get someone else!!!! I hired a quality guy and they had it running great in no time.
