A school where teachers actually cared. I attended ACHS for one school year back in 1997-1998. I graduated 5/1998, moved away and never really looked back much. I ran on the team of beloved coach Charlie Floyd, where I was the only white runner on the team. Looking back on it, I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything. Coach Floyd taught me some lessons that proved later in life to be particularly invaluable. I had teachers like Mr. Gilmore for Spanish, Mr. Jerry Padgett for math/physics, and Ms. Marilyn Anderson for English. As so much time as passed since then, few of them still remain. I miss my former teachers and schoolmates alike! Dive your head into those books while you can; I doubt you'll ever regret it. An education is something nobody can take away from you.

Graduated in 2009. Love my school but it wasn't a good school. Out of date textbooks, poor learning environment, and the building is in very bad condition.
