  On Dec 6, 2021 I called American and asked if they had some supplies that I need to help finish up the job. They told me yes. I drove over 45 minutes to go purchase them. I went inside and waited approximately 20 minutes. I gave the man at the sales counter my supply list. He asked me did I have an account with them I told him no that I buy things from them all of the time. I was having a new unit installed and the company that was installing it was a contractor I gave him the company's card he looked and said that were not in his system .He went to the back then he came out and told me that he would not sell me anything. I asked him why he stated to me that he was saving it for his bigger contractors and the only way he would sell it to me if I was to buy a complete unit .I stated to them they need to change the information on the internet because they are not doing what they advertise.

  I ordered a bath tub and surround from this company. The only carrier I was able to use was R&L Carrier per American's policy. I paid $200. to have this shipped to me in Texas. It arrived damaged due to the carrier but neither the carrier or American Supply want to take responsibility for the damage. Both continue to pass the buck of responsibility. If a company only offers one carrier to deliver their product they should have complete faith in that carrier to protect their customers purchase. I have a surround that can not be used or returned which was $197. and shipping for $200. I sent pictures to Heather showing her the damage the day of delivery and she basically stated there is nothing she can do. Very convenient for both companies to not accept responsibility for the care of the merchandise I purchased. I am now out $397. with no surround to go with my tub. I will never use either of these companies again and suggest no one else does if they do not want to be ripped off of money.

  I have a 1980's home and need some no longer manufactured plumbing parts for my bathroom tub. I searched on the internet and found American Supply & Air Products had some of these parts in their catalog. I checked the website's shipping page which didn't include shipping directions to Canada. Many times I have contacted US companies about shipping to Canada and have been turned away -- so when I called ASAP, I wasn't optimistic.They were fantastic. Not only did they agree to ship to me, I had some questions about the products (and needed some advice). To clearly understand what I was looking for, I texted them some pictures and they texted some back showing how the parts fit together. I was really confident that I had the right parts because ASAP's staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. One of the parts needed to come from another store, but that wasn't a problem. They assembled everything, I paid over the phone, they popped it in a box and a week later it arrived at my house. So, some rando from Canada needs a couple bucks of ancient plumbing parts -- and they made it happen. Great service. Thanks so much for your help.
