  After power was restored following a snow storm, our heat pump wouldn't work. American Family Heating & Air came and quickly found the problem, a loose electrical connection. The technician cleaned and solidly connected the loose wire and the heat pump worked perfectly. He showed me the connection and how he fixed it. No new parts were needed. The heat pump has worked perfectly since. The technician came right on time, quickly fixed the problem, was knowledgable, careful, and courteous. American Family Heating & Air was recommended to us, and we highly recommend them to anyone else.

  I was having problems with my heat pump freezing up outside. I called Company A because I found a coupon for a discounted inspection. While Company A's technician was very nice, I received a recommendation for a new furnace and heat pump, plus installation of an air scrubber. A $10k+ quote led me to look at Yelp, HomeAdvisor and Google Reviews for second opinion. American Family Heating had great reviews, so I gave then a call. Instant call back to my message and appointment the SAME DAY with the owner. Same inspection performed as Company A, but American Family found a faulty sensor was the culprit. I received a quote for the repair, cleaning and disinfecting both furnaces and heat pumps. My bill was faaaaaaar more tolerable, and I am now a customer for life. I highly recommend giving these guys a try! No pressure, lots of options. Very happy customer here!

  Our home warranty sent these guys to us and we were so pleased. They were professional and so very respectful. We had some additional questions about other services which they provided great information and advice without pushing unneeded services. We will calling them and recommending them to others!! Shout out to Rick and Kirk for their exceptional service and skills!
