  Great service from initial phone call to the job being completed. I had complete confidence the whole time that I was getting the best service. It was a very quick fix, which I was thankful for, and I believe the gentleman who came even cleaned the unit before he left. I appreciated that as I'm sorely unaware of what maintenance the unit needs. Will definitely use them again for any future needs.

  American Air is Exceptional! I contacted them for service at my business. I've had bad experiences with air conditioning companies in the past but not with them. I actually TRUST them. Jay is super knowledgeable and has always gone above and beyond. He takes the time to explain everything and makes sure I am satisfied with the job. The charge has always been LESS than what I expected. He obviously has many years of experience. I was so impressed that I use them for my home systems too. I even signed up for their special program. They come and maintain my system, change my filters, etc. If have a problem then I get priority service and a DISCOUNT on parts. Their customer service at the office is prompt and professional as well. A+

  Unfortunate choice of professionals. Last winter our heater started to not work properly so I called the contractor that we have used for the past 14 years. His company was absorbed by American. We had a service call on 12/07 and they "suggested changing the unit", then we had another call on 12/28 and they re-set (code for hit the sequencer with the butt of a screwdriver). Besides the "re-set" and the "suggestion" they also took a couple of cell phone pictures and later the guy called me and informed me that the part, because it was old, would cost $700. My system is old, but it was tiring having four different people talk to us about financing a $6000 unit. We paid a $125 service call fee and then recently received a notice from a collection agency about another $125 charge. I guess that’s the going rate for talking, taking a picture and hitting with a screwdriver. We’ve paid $125 to them, now we’re going to pay $125 to a collection agency and thank goodness we will be able to go through someone else to get a new unit. To their credit the office staff was nice and she did mention that the people I was dealing with no longer work for them; however their prices are still outrageous. I did a quick google search and found 2 companies out of OKC that could be here tomorrow and only charge $89 and $99 for a service call. American is just over priced and unrealistic, I know they just wanted to sell us a new system, so I guess I am only out $250 instead of $6000. I guess I now know that I can get more cost effective service out of OKC… I should have read further down this Google review page.
