Our furnace suddenly developed a problem, belching black soot and setting off our smoke detectors. We couldn't reach our oil company for help, so I decided to try a local guy. Tom was actually on another job when he received my call, and he promised to come over as soon as he wrapped up. He arrived exactly when he said he would, performed the necessary repairs for just what he said it would cost, and finished the job in less than 2 hours. His rates are reasonable, and Tom is prompt, courteous, and professional. He will be our heating service guy from here on! I recommend Alton Heating Service very highly to anyone living in the area.
