  Call ahead or pop in and make an appointment. He’s quite busy right now. Also, if you are getting a smog test done make sure that your check engine light is not on because that’s an automatic fail.

  I just bought my prelude and took it here and it failed. He said I should fix the exhaust leak, so I went out and did that. Came back and still failed every time. He said there was nothing to be done after I drove from Seattle. I went to Placer Smog and it passed the first time and only took 15 minutes, vs spending multiple hours at this shop. I would not recommend this place for older vehicles in the slightest. Very disappointed with my experience.

  Only place we go to take our cars for a smog check. Mitch is top notch. We recommend all of our friends and family to take their vehicles to alternative auto as well.
