    We had Airrific install our new Heating and Cooling unit. And we purchased a Maintenance contract as well. Unfortunately, when we needed a new thermostat things went south. The technician was awesome. But when we questioned a 100%+ markup on the new thermostat, the owner literally got on the phone with my husband and screamed at him. Then hung up on him. Not such a good way to conduct your business.

    Sharlynn- let's be honest and open about what truly happened. This entire phone call occurred on the speaker phone of the technician that was at your home (not your husbands phone) and also everyone in the office where we all could hear as well; including the technician that was holding the phone. No one was screaming, however both your husband and the owner were trying to talk over each other, mainly because your husband did not like the price we were charging; but plain and simple that was the price we offered, you don't go out eat and try and change the price on the menu . We price our products according to what we need to price them at, in order to stay in business. A lot more goes into the price than the raw cost (gas, insurance, advertising, payroll rent etc.). Furthermore, not once but two times you solicited our technician to come back after hours and install the part "on the side," and the owner was fully aware of that when he was speaking to your husband so at this point he did not really care if you stayed our customer or not. Even after all the back and forth (and knowing what your husband did) he still tried to discount the price and told the technician that is the lowest I'm going they can take it or leave, and said he had another call coming in and hung up. He was not even on the line with your husband phone it was the tech's cell phone so your husband was not hung up on and no "screaming" was occurring. We thank you for your years that you were our customer but we are happy to part ways as we do not want customers that would try and have our employees do unscrupulous things that could cause them to lose their jobs.

    The service tech was great. The price of their parts outragely high. The disconnect and pigtail Sold for about $100 at home depot. Airiffic charge was $380. I'll never call them for service again.

    I just had an annual maintenance preformed on my A/C system. I think the tech was very thorough with his check up and didn't try to pressure me with an up sale. Please give Todd and his crew a try for your next service or replacement.
