We've been fortunate enough to use Airmax at our last to residences.
The most recent experience with our heater going out was diagnosed by Trey in a very timely manner, and the replacement part installed by Blake was also very efficient. Both of the technicians were very courteous and professional.

I have used AirMax for the last several years of both A/C and heating system checks, as well as the one minor repair needed.  The experience from appointment setting to the technician’s visit has always been great.  The technician today was quite thorough and took time to explain what has been checked and done.  I have found all the employees to be helpful, friendly, and feel confident in their skills and knowledge.

I can’t say enough about Airmax!  They put in a new system for us plus an air cleaner.  They are efficient, knowledgeable, on time and their communication was awesome!  I always knew what was going on.  They made our new system work so efficiently by adding ducts and a new return air.  The new system works like a dream, even on the hottest days it kept up.  Plus it is the quietest machine I’ve ever not heard..lol. It’s so sleek we show it off to friends and family - it’s amazing the things that fascinate us when we get old!

The technician was very friendly and courteous. He answered all my questions without hesitation. I was pleased with the service. My only concern is that I waited all day long for the company to advise me when I could expect service. The technician was delayed on another job and showed up after business hours. They should have given me an update during the day

Our system was installed in March of 2020.   Less than a year later I was charged a service fee for in warrenty work with a report that a screw was loose on the thermostat wire.  One year later another loose screw allowed a 240v wire to back off and arc in the unit causing damage.   They need to work on their workmanship skills.   A new system should  not fail twice in 20 months.

Airmax Technician ( Trey porter)  was knowledgeable and very professional . He has diagnosed the system and knew the problem area. He explained me in detail on the issue and replaced the defective part and made the problem go away. Great Job.

On 10/21/21 AHS sent AirMax out to inspect my unit due to it not cooling. They failed to do a complete diagnosis check on my system, only checking the the box in attic. (There a unit outside as well)… (this is documented on the inspection sheet). I was informed  that the system was completely out of refrigerant & there was a leak in my evaporator coil. On 10/26/21 they returned to replace coil and added 14 lbs of refrigerant. I paid them $1145.
Due to unseasonably warm in TX when I attempted to use my AC on 12/23 to my surprise my home would not get cool. I had to have ANOTHER service request created by AHS on 12/27. This time the tech inspected BOTH inside & outside units and advised me that the system was AGAIN was completely out of refrigerant and that outside unit has a bad coil. I would need to pay $980 for more refrigerant.
How does a household use 14 lbs of refrigerant in less than 8 weeks?  Had the 1st tech properly inspected my complete system (both inside & outside); he would have correctly diagnosed that there were 2 bad coils! As the service professional he failed to do his due diligence.
Ii attempted to resolve this with the service manager but was unsuccessful. Now I’m forced to contact the BBB for assistance with a resolution.

Trina, I am sorry to hear that you are having another problem with your system.  However, our service records indicates that our technician did perform a through leak search of the indoor as well as the outdoor unit on 10/21.  In addition to that, our standard installation procedures and industry best practices are to pressure test the system with nitrogen and then to pull a thorough evacuation of the system when we installed the new coil.  Those tests did not show any evidence of a leak at that time.  As you know the part that is leaking is still under warranty by the manufacturer however the refrigerant needed is not covered by their warranty. In December 2019 Airmax installed two HVAC systems.  Awesome pricing and great installation!
As for our bi-annual maintenance, more often good than average.  In a perfect world you’d get the same technician.  Well we know that aint today.  So when it’s a new employee shadowing the senior employee, you just gotta be more understanding of the teaching process.
And as a consumer I believe we should elevate our concerns to the team, or owner, when they do occasionally dropped the ball with “average” service.  When this does happen, the owner (Scott) wants to know so that he can rectify the situation.  Thumbs up on an owner who’s willing to roll up the sleeves and hit the field to ensure 100% customer satisfaction!
So if you’re looking for a great install deal and an Owner (Scott) that’s all ears, Airmax is the place.

I am sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied.  I checked with the production department and they did man your job with extra team members that day so that they could complete the work in time.
