Ms Laura Herring was non responsive to several email. I emailed the signed contract to her back on February 25, 2021 and then I receive a pushy email, in which I forwarded the original email from February 25, 2021. Then she followed up with a semi threatening phone call claiming that they were coming to lock down my tank because I never signed the contract so I forwarded the email I sent back on February 25, 2021 a third time while I was on the phone with her and I asked her if she received either emails. She preceded to tell me that she has been on the phone all morning and haven’t been able to check her email. Long story short, she finally checks her email and see both of my emails. Then she sends out a service technician claiming the monitor was malfunctioning but had no record of the monitor actually malfunctioning. Then she flat out lies to the technician who came out to service the monitor claiming that she had been trying to reach me, lies number one, and that she was unable to get in touch with me, lie number two, and that she has been trying to get the contract signed and an account number set up for months, lie number three. Despite Ms Herrings’ very poor customer service, the technician was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. I’m not saying that the company is bad, I just had a bad experience with Ms. Herring.

This was the worst company I ever had to deal with when I lived in southern MD. They would contract out a set amount of propane at a set price, but then after buying that amount they would come out and refill the tanks when they were only like 30% empty and then say "oh, this was extra so we're charging you a much higher rate than what you had agreed to" Basically you had to know EXACTLY when you got through your prepaid amount and then call and haggle a new amount, or else they would dump extra propane on you for an insanely jacked up price. Oh, and to top it off, in the absolute dead of winter, with my tanks near empty, they tell me they are unceremoniously dumping me as a customer bc Bryan's Road is no longer in their service area. I literally had 5 days to find and arrange a new propane service.

Hi Rich, the circumstances you are describing sound rather unlikely. We do offer a prebuy option to our customers, but the purpose is not so we can charge a premium after they use more than the pre-bought amount. It is more likely that there was a price fluctuation in the market following the use of said gallons. You made note of *when you lived in Southern MD* so it may not be relevant now however we do service Bryans Road so it would be unlikely we would not deliver propane to you for the reason indicated. We'd be happy to look into this further if you allow us your account number or address.
