Thank you so much to Adams Plumbing and Heating for coming to the rescue tonight! It can’t be easy being on call and leaving your family functions, although my family really appreciates water back in the house! Terry and his sidekick(I didn’t catch his name) were SO NICE and very respectful. They turned lights off after they left the rooms and made sure they didn’t leave a mess. Thank you so much! I REALLY appreciate it.

It pains me to write this review but something has to be said. To be fair I started Useing Adams Plumbing around 2005. They put in my first central air and has worked on many other projects and repairs all of which I had absolutely no complaints. Infact a few times I tried a plumber closer to my home in which that plumber couldn't figure out the problem with a water heater but when Adams came out they had it figured out and fixed in half an hour. That's where the honeymoon ends. Right around Christmas 2018 I stopped by Adams Plumbing and told them that I have a drain pipe from my bathtub in the up stairs leaking water through the ceiling of my kitchen down onto my stove. I told them the pipes was old and and every thing would have to be replaced including the vent pipe through my roof And all the way down to the basement. I told them that since we was going to do all the pipes then I would also like to do a compleat bathroom remodel. This would include toilet, tub, sink, vanity, medicine cabinet. The whole works. I told them that I would like it done as soon as possible because of the water leaking through the ceiling onto my stove but that I also knew it may be best to wait untill spring because working with the vent pipe on my steep roof in winter might be a dangerous thing. I asked them to get me on the schedule for early spring and that I would survive by placing a bucket on my stove untill then. Beside that I would have to figure out what tubs, sinks etc that I would want for the remodel. Around January or February of 2019 I went to Adams showroom in Mason City to pick what I wanted, get the estimate and get it ordered. They sent me the estimate and although expensive I decided to move forward anyway because I liked their work, trusted them and needed the leak fixed regardless. I started calling them around March. Spring was near and I wanted to get the stuff for the bathroom ordered for the upcoming work. This is where I started getting the runaround. Nobody could give me a strait answer over how to move forward and get stuff ordered. Do I need to pay for it now or after it comes in. Do they need to come look at the bathroom or not? Many multiple phone calls during March, April, May and June trying to get it rolling but no straight answers. Always we will call you back but nobody ever did. Sometimes I called back a couple times a day or multiple times a week leaving a messages or talking to the receptionist because nobody would call back as they said they would but it didn't help. Never got to talk to who I needed to talk to, never got answers, didn't get anything ordered and they never called back. Finally in July Terry called me back. We had to set a time for him to come out and look at the bathroom. Throughout July and August there had been a series of calls trying to set up a time for him to come out to look at the bathroom but I got the same run around. Wouldn't call back and the one time he did call back he told me he got his dates mixed up and that if I called him once I'm home on a Friday he would come out. I called multiple times that Friday and left messages letting him know what time I would be home. He never showed up and never called back. I had to give up on them. I couldn't just let my bathtub poor water into my kitchen Everytime it drained. I found other people to do the work. That was late August early September of 2019 and I never heard another thing from them untill since untill a couple weeks ago when they sent me a bill for work they did. Problem is they haven't done any work for me. I called them and explained that they have sent me a bill for work they didn't do. The receptionist took the message and said they would call me back...................... They haven't. I'm giving them two stars as opposed to one star for the work they did in the past. They used to be a decent place but something has changed.
