A Comfort was my 3rd opinion and company to talk to and pricing was exactly the same with maintenance. I was told by the previous companies that I needed to replace or fix the problem and it could cost me 3k to 5k. Robert came out from AComfort and did my maintenance on my 4ton and inspected my heat pump and lets just say that with a ground wire being wired wrong and a fuse blown in the handler it was up and running and thats honesty and integrity and he is as professional as he could be. I am extremely pleased and satisfied. AComfort has my business.

I wish zero were an option for reviewing because a 1 is far too much credit to give this company. Firstly, I called and the FIRST thing I mentioned was that I need a commercial space serviced. I was quoted a $96 diagnostic fee by the owner. I agreed and scheduled the appointment to have my heating unit assessed because it was not blowing cool air. The tech came out, took about an hour to tell me a valve that had likely been overused was broken and needed to be replaced. He also promised not to charge me beyond the diagnostic. I receive a quote of nearly $700 total to get this "problem" fixed which included a diagnostic of $135 (lie number 1) and decide, absolutely not. We find this odd considering the unit is barely a year old. I reach out to Georgia Air Solutions for a second opinion, and I'm so glad I did! The owner of Georgia Air Solutions was so kind and knowledgeable and sent a tech out right away. The tech inspected my unit and saw nothing wrong at all which puzzled him. The Georgia Air Solutions tech was then prompted to check the meter, which was OFF. He turned it on and voila, the heat began working. I explain this to the owner of AComfort repeatedly and she does not budge and invoices me for labor on the unit based on the dishonest tech's notes, a total of $231, and then threatened to send me to collections if I did not pay. What a disgusting, unethical, dishonest company. I was willing to pay the diagnostic I was originally quoted over the phone and wasnpromised not to be charged beyond in my business by the tech but not the fabricated service and labor for a problem that did not exist. As a fellow business owner, I would never disregard a customer in this way and I would not allow my employees to lie and take advantage of my customers. Here are the invoices between the two companies. AComfort (the dishonest company), Georgia Air Solutions (the honest company). Georgia Air Solutions documented 2 days after AComfort came, that the unit was perfectly normal (see images). Beware of AComfort and their dishonest techs and horrible business practices.

Ms. Hoskins, Our office was contacted for a service call at the commercial location stated. During the phone call, the price quoted was $96.00 for the diagnostic fee that covers the first 30 minutes onsite and $135.00 per hour after that. While speaking with you, you stated you were quoted $96.00 diagnostic fee and $135.00 per hour. Our lead supervisor confirmed the diagnostic with my technician to be a correct diagnostic at the time of the visit. Also confirmed, all meters were turned on at the location. A second opinion is your prerogative, it does not however alleviate you from financial responsibility to our business. Because the account was past due, and you stated that you would not be paying the balance due. A finial invoice was sent, if payment wasn’t received the account would be turned over to our collection vendor.

Horrible experience with this company. Evidently A Better Heating & Air in Lovejoy (who were very good & fairly priced) sold their company in June to AComfort HVAC & they are nothing alike! I am familiar with HVAC repair/ maintenance costs as a property manager. They were asked to go out & add coolant to a system & get the tenant some air. We were charged $867! Including $405 labor & a $89 diagnostic fee - for adding 3 lbs of coolant & a new filter! I was told "they do not work for free" 8/5/21 Just read your response to my review. Your technician is either not telling you the entire truth (or as I suspect) you are just not the company we wish to do business with again. Yes we told the technician to get the tenant up & running but this was AFTER he told us it needed between 3 & 4 lbs of coolant. THAT WAS WHAT IT NEEDED. We even asked your staff the amount of the charge when you called about the owner's card not going through & we had to give you a new one. We were told you didn't know the amount yet - you had to wait for all the information from the technician & he wasn't coming back in that day! I have no issue with the cost of the coolant or a service call fee or even a little something additional for his time. What I do have issue with - is the $405 labor! - in addition to the $89 service call fee!. And no - the fee structure is not like the former company's fees we were dealing with. I have all the copies of receipts for this property. And you were totally unwilling to give at all on this exorbitant charge. I've been doing property mgmt for over 16 years and have dealt with many HVAC companies. Thank you

Hi Robin, Thank you for your time on the phone and through emails. Your office contacted us for a service call due to no AC at a home. We had no way of knowing we needed your personal approval; we certainly would not have completed the work without your express permission. We are a family-owned business and treat our customers as part of the family. When the technician arrived onsite and after the diagnostic was completed, our office staff contacted your office to share that we recommended a unit replacement. The office staff instructed us to do whatever it took to get the customer up and running and to send a quote for replacement. Once we completed the work, we called your office and received payment via credit card over the phone. No other questions were asked by your staff. We were simply doing what was requested. While we appreciate feedback, this is a bit unfair as the complexity of the project is not explained. The pricing is reasonable and what ABetter Heating and Air had structured for this work.
