    I hired this company to replace my air conditioner in July 2020. Scott was good. Little over a year later, my thermostat stopped working. I called and spoke to Stewart to see if it was under warranty. I was informed that there was a 5-year warranty on the thermostat. Stewart also said that they would have to come diagnose the problem which would cost about $92 and once they determine the AC thermostat is bad, they would do a warranty replacement and I would have to pay for another service call for the warranty replacement. I have since called them 3-times and have not heard a response from Stewart who said he would call me back. Spoke to another company and they informed that they would only charge for one visit and only if I asked them to install the thermostat. However, if I was willing to install it myself, I would not have to pay for even one service call. I am still waiting for Stewart to call me back so I could ask him to help me get my warranty replacement on the thermostat. Very disappointed with their business model, which in my opinion is only focused on their bottom line and not taking care of their customers. Spoke to Stewart again and he said he would drop off a new thermostat and take the old one from me and would not charge me if he did not have to install it. This is the reason I changed the rating from a 3* to 4*.

    Thank you Shashi, here is my response. I explained to you that we do not accept customer diagnosis. You asked me what the diagnosis charge was and I gave you that information. $92 not $100. While we take the information you provide as assistance in our approach, it is not our protocol to take customer diagnosis. It should also be noted, that you told us months ago, you could maintain your equipment yourself, and did not require our service. I was also very clear that we did not concern ourselves with how your other contractor conducted business. If I sounded firm with that response, my intention was only to stand by our protocol and objectives, which have been successful for many years. At the end of our call, I said we would send the tech out with the proper thermostat, and if it had in fact failed, you would only be charged for the 1 trip. You continued to tell me you shouldn't be charged labor for warranty part, and that you would call your other contractor. I never mentioned I would call you back, you were to call back and tell me if you wanted us to send the technician. I then left the office on a call and went on with my day. Thank you for the 3 stars, I will provide you with a new thermostat, file the warranty claim, return the failed thermostat to the distributor. We appreciate your past business.     Scott is the most honest man in the A/C business that I’ve ever met! He replaced my A/C unit three years ago. I chose Scott because he was the only company out of five that was upfront and honest—he earned my trust in 15 minutes! I have been saving $1,200 a year thanks to Scott. He has been maintaining my A/C unit every six month and I’m very happy with his services! I recently contacted Scott to take a look at a friend’s unit. Again, his team went above and beyond! Honest and trust is what they strive for! Thank you Scott and team for always exceeding my expectations🙏.

    I interviewed five vendors for a replacement AC. Scott was the only one who recommended improving and relocating the ducts for better performance. I recognized that this firm was interested in providing solutions not just equipment. That is what they did. A good installation crew that really takes pride in getting everything right. Not the lowest cost but in my opinion the best value. I will be using them for any AC and electric work that needs to be done.
