These guys went above and beyond for my family today. My son thought a cap was left off...so the guys drove to where he was and checked things out. It was a false alarm. I bought a 23” long steel fuel line for $4.50 from our local NAPA store. The fuel line required two bends. I took the fuel to Abilene Radiator & Air Conditioning for them to make 2 bends. They called me 3 hours later and said the fuel line was ready for pick up. They charged me $55 to make those two bends. I asked them if this was a joke and they “No.” They said they had overhead to pay and that their labor was worth something. I didn’t dispute their need to make make a living and pay their overhead, but $55 for making two bends on a $4.50 fuel line is absolutely outrageous. I’ll never return to this business.
