Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value If I could leave zero stars, I would. When I initially called them, they said they’d be at our home to fix our plumbing that same evening. Well hours pass with no phone call or anyone showing up. I decide to call back and I get a different person who has no clue what I’m talking about. She then consults someone else and then goes “Oh, we were supposed to call you and tell you we’re not going to make it over there tonight.” She also informs me that they do not work overtime. So I have to make an appointment for the following Monday. We endure the whole weekend with our plumbing backing up and then Monday morning, a guy named Mark shows up later than planned and messes up our bathroom and yard, charges us $494 just to tell us they couldn’t help us—we had tree roots in our plumbing. So that same afternoon I post on the Jackson County Facebook page asking for some sort of help and direction since Stockmeister didn’t give us any. I got several messages including one from another local contractor who said his team could fix our problem. They come out that same evening and fix our issue within less than an hour and charged us only $212. They also informed me this was not the first time they had to follow Stockmeister on a job. I called Stockmeister the following day but they were rude and insisted they did “everything they could”. Will not be calling Stockmeister again for anything. Service: Repair water fixtures

I phoned Stockmeister to fix my Kohler generator that would not start in cold weather. When Chris showed up to fix my generator he had another kid with him, I thought he was just a friend of Chris's, little did I know that I was paying almost a $100.00 an hour each for both of these guys. Chris had no equipment to test any part of my generation, if he did he didn't get it out, so we all Guessed that the battery didn't have enough cold cranking amps and that must be the problem, so Chris and his friend ran down to Napa and got another battery, Only after receiving my bill from Stockmeister did I realize that the battery with labor cost me $630.00 plus other expenses. This didn't fix the problem, so Chris makes another trip to my house, this time by himself, still no testing equipment, so we all guessed again what might be wrong with my generator. To make a long story short, I now have over a $1000 in repairs and my generator is still the same as it was from the beginning . So after six months of my generator still not running in cold weather, I called Gail at Stockmeister's and told her that I either wanted my generator fixed or I wanted my money back, at that time she informed me that Chris had fixed my generator, because he said it started the day he was there, ( certainly it started, it was 70 degrees the day Chris was at my house, it will always start above 45 degrees ) and That... I had another problem with the same symptoms. Bottom line is the generator still broken and I am out a $1000 but Gail said she would be more than happy to send Chris back again at my experience, I can't afford any more Chris. My advice for anyone looking for a standby generator is to buy a Generac, all my friend that have Generac are very happy with that brand, and your lawn mower repair shop can fix it, unlike Koler who must use a Koler expert to repair it, which is horribly expensive .
