I am writing this review as a third party observer. While at a social event I had the opportunity to get acquainted with the owner of A&H services Glen Aho. The thing that got my attention was a phone call he took from one of his workers in the field. He stated very clearly to his technician to do what every it takes to make the system right keep the customer happy. It was obvious he was not going to make money on that call but it was important to him that the customer was happy. I wish I could call the company that installed my AC and have the confidence they would treat me like that.

I contacted A&H services and spoke to the receptionist who was very courteous. She then had Mr. Peter Horn call me with regard to an appointment and he was able to come to my home that afternoon. Mr. Horn answered all of my questions and took the time to explain to me why purchasing a Trane (even though not the cheapest unit available) would be the best. After speaking with him, I had no doubts that the Trane was the best buy and I was confident in my purchase. There was no need to speak to any other representative due to the fact that I felt that Mr. Horn was honest and up-front. Mr. Horn then scheduled a day for installation. Two young gentleman, Chris and Bryant came to my house. I was very impressed that they were on-time, since we all know that this rarely, if ever happens. ( I told Mr. Horn that this was important since I had to go to work). They were polite and very professional. Chris explained to me all of the details about what he was going to do and the actual operation of the unit. Approximately one hour after that, Mr. Horn came to my home to make sure everything was ok and going well. This really impressed me.

A and H installed the a/c in my new home .Just before the 1 year warranty was up the system started blowing hot air. A and H came and seviced it with freon. He stated there was no leak and I need only use it more . It soon went off warranty and then they were able to find the leak. Big fat repair bill . Good con job ! Don;t walk away run .

    Response from the owner

This post is unfair. This person did have a leak that we couldn't find initially, but later did find on the next visit but his timeline is incorrect. His system was started up (which is when warranty officially starts) on May 16, 2017. The date we went there and found the system low on Freon was December 5th, 2018. This is over 6 months past his one year labor warranty. We could not find the leak at that time. He called us again on May 7th, 2019 and his system was again low on refrigerant. This time we found the leak in the evaporator coil. We put refrigerant in the system for him, to keep him cooling and replaced the coil on May 10th, 2019. To say we pulled a "con job" and "don't walk away run" is also unfair and very disheartening to hear. We are a family run business and have been in business for 32 years. We always try to do the right thing. I think this homeowner's anger (if I may call it that) should be directed towards the manufacturer of his equipment and not us. His coil absolutely should not have leaked after only 1-1/2 years. A manufacturer will only provide a new coil as part of their warranty. There are no provisions for labor, refrigerant, filter drier and any other miscellaneous parts or equipment necessary to do the job. We must provide all of that and then apply for and process the warranty on the homeowner's behalf. I would also like to add that leaks can sometimes be very difficult to find. If we discover a system to be low on refrigerant within the warranty period and cannot find the leak, we will warranty whatever repair is eventually (whether still in the warranty period or not) done to fix the leak. That has always been our company policy.
