I have so much I could write about this company, but I am going to make it short. A/C brokers over sold us an air conditioning unit that was way to powerful for our house. My husband and I started noticing during the cold months our breaker kept blowing a fuse once the heater started to run. Load and behold when the temperature finally fell to 25 degrees our breaker became overheated and the wires smell like they were burning. We called A/c brokers to come out and figure out what was going on there tech, said the unit was to powerful for our system. Let me say, how furious my husband and I were to find out we were over sold a powerful unit. You would think this company would know it wasn’t the right size unit. They didn’t help us out at all! No customer service!! We called an electrician to come out and rewire our system, so it would accommodate our unit size and had to pay $850 to have it done. Beware!!! If you call this company and they give you a good rate understand they won’t take responsibility for there mistakes.

Paid A\C Brokers to come out and perform annual maintenance on my AC units. When he arrived on 06/02/2016, I explained to him that water was coming out of my overflow. He said he would take care of it during the service. The he charged me $225 to blow my lines and top off my Freon. Now, I don’t go into my back yard often, but when I went out on 06/15/2016, there was water coming out of my over flow. I called A/C Brokers to explain the situation and he stated he would get a technician out same day. When the tech arrived, I showed him the over flow was leaking and when we looked at the unit, one line was fine and the second line was leaking. This second tech blew both lines and when we checked the over flow, the leaking had stopped. Now is where the fun begins. I then got a $150 bill to pay for the service I paid them to provide the first time. A/C Brokers would not stand behind their work and instead said ‘I had a plumbing problem’. If it was a plumbing problem, how did the tech resolve the issue when I stood there and ensured he blew the lines?! I would not recommend this vendor because a) I was charged for something that wasn’t done and b) they didn’t stand behind their work and I was charged a second time.

I read the reviews of this company so I called them last. BIG MISTAKE. I called two companies before them. 1st said coil broken freon leak, $2k to fix and charged me $120 for him coming. 2nd guy said fan was broken, fix for $500, need to fix the coil of freon leak "based" on me telling him, solution is changed whole air handler for $2500, charged me $85 and will just deduct that which ever I go, change fan of whole air handler. Then I called the AC BROKERS. I was honest and told him I called two other companies before them and I wanted to be sure and need an opinion. The problem the first two companies was telling me just didn't fit my analysis for the problem. Brian Bennet said he will waive the fees to come so technician can diagnose it properly and give me the estimate and we go from there. Technician came and told me things I actually was thinking. I was not a technician but what he was saying fitted with the problem I was experiencing. He checked the system and did base his diagnostic from him taking time to check the system and not based it from what I was saying nor what other technicians were saying. He said this needs to be replaced and I can get it fixed for this amount. I said okay. He went and get what he needed, an hour later he came back, and fixed my hvac. I did tell the technician about the reviews I read and my technician did say he had an accident and was not around the months this company had bad reviews. A BIG THANK YOU AC BROKERS.
