A1 came out and installed a brand new boiler system for us in our home. After coming out to look at our old system, give us options on a new system and give us an estimate they were able to get out to us quickly to start the install of the new system. They were fast and efficient, explained the system and how it worked. We had some questions following the install and a technician came out and ran through the system with us an double checked a few items that we had questions about. A short time later we had a few more questions (boiler system newbies here, we’re used to forced air/heat) and the owner Brad came out to make sure we were fully understanding our new system. During the time Brad was here he and the other technician, Nick, detected a gas leak in our basement and discovered that our gas line had a hole in it!!!!! The hole in the gas line was right at the point where the gas line went through the foundation of the house to the outside of the house so was an noticeable at first glance. They were able to detect and find the gas leak and they were out there very first thing the next morning to replace that section of the line. There was, of course, a cost for them to do this but the cost was very reasonable and we were happy to pay for the repair and thankful that they had taken the time to investigate and find the problem. Nick, the technician, was insistent that something was not right and basically refused to leave until he found the problem. Had he not been so insistent the outcome could have detrimental!!! We have had nothing but great experiences with A1, their technicians, their staff and even their owners! We have had multiple equipment installs/repairs done by them, ranging from plumbing to electrical to cooling systems to our heating system. They have been remarkable, EVERY TIME! Highly recommended!

We were so pleased with the service that we got from A-1 we would highly recommend this business. We were treated so nice. The two woman in the office Leslie, Bailey were so friendly and helpful. Then we were visited by two young men Max and Dale. Very professional and nice… Then the ultimate came last Gary and Cole. Wow so impressed. Both professional, kind and very educated in their work. Great personality and a lot of fun to be around…..Sincerely A-1 is GREAT.

I called A1 to come out for a furnace cleaning and to look over my unit. I received a window between 12-2 Friday 3/11/2022. Please keep in mind, my furnace was functioning correctly, just needed it cleaned up because there was sunflower seeds in the unit. Two techs showed up after 2pm. One tech didn't turn off the right breaker and sparked himself. After checking over the unit and cleaning it, they told me that my blower motor was failing and needing to be replaced. Whether this is true or not, I still don't know. I feel like they sold me on a $745 motor that didn't need replaced. Once this was replaced, the techs left, I had to pick up my daughter. When I returned to my house, the fan would not shut off unless I tripped the breaker. The fan was pulling in cool air constantly and the heat source would not work currently. (I paid $1,058 for Friday) The tech returned back on Saturday, he told me that my control board had failed and the high limit switch needed to be replaced. He then jumped a heat limit safety switch (which should not have happened). -I called Monday around 9:30am because I didn't hear from anyone yet, they could only tell me they will get me a quote. I requested to speak with the owner. He wasn't much help, told me that he had confidence in his tech but could come out if I wanted. Later I got a quote from them for another $879 for replacing a control board and high limit switch. I did not reply and wanted to talk to someone else. Needless to say, no responsibility was taken for the issue at hand. - Wednesday, I contacted another company. They were extremely helpful! The two techs were at my house within 20 mins of my call. They looked over my unit and told me my control board is fine and showed me where the A1 tech jumped the safety switch they confirmed this was not something that should have been done. The new company found that when the blower motor was replaced, the original tech wired it incorrectly. The blower motor was wired to my AC unit, hence why the fan was pulling cool air. Within maybe 15-20 mins, my heater is working correctly again and there is no fan running constantly! -A1 has a reputation for wiring things wrong. I will not being using them ever again nor referring them ever again!

It is unfortunate that we were not given the opportunity after your concern was voiced to look things over for a second time and go from there.
