When at first my furnace would not turn on and then later would not turn off, the technician went through thorough steps to diagnose and discover the problems.  I was also educated on what was going on with the furnace and he stayed to make sure everything worked correctly, also offering follow-up if anything should arise.  Highly recommend this service!

This business is amazing! My parents live in New Meadows and their furnace stopped working. They had been freezing cold for over a week because they are on a small fixed income. My sister said she could cover the cost of them to get it checked out and they decided to call A1 to see if someone could come look at it. They found a technician that was able to come out the same day and got it back going for them within an hour!! When your family lives far away it is awesome to know there are such great companies like this that will take excellent care of their neighbors in the community. Thank you so much for what you did!!

It is worth noting that all of the five-star reviews of A-1 are over a year old. We hired Randy at the A-1 office in McCall to install the HVAC unit in our new house in Donnelly. We spoke with Randy over a couple of months, he came out and inspected the house and met with us twice. He provided an estimate and we agreed to use A-1. In mid-September 2020, Randy told us that he would return the following week and get started. Unfortunately, he never showed up and failed to return our numerous calls. At the same time, A-1 was working with our builder on another project three doors down from our house. We called the office several times and politely asked for a return call from Randy and to please let us know when he was going to start our project. Incredibly, as of October 20, 2020, we never received any return calls and no one has responded to our concerns. We think this is completely unprofessional behavior and it has set our new construction back by well over a month.
