  Port in Skagway, lots of shopping which was great until Skagway Mining CO. Myself and two friends shopping they had coupons with each purchase of $10 or more free tote bag and train whistle-great right well my two friends made multiple purchases throughout the day and with each they received the two items. Now I was given a tote bag by my friend because I had multiple other bags and I put all in one. Well I’m making my first purchase from them and they refused to honor my coupon because I was carrying a tote. So I asked to speak to her manager and Ms. Asia said no I can not speak with the manager and to leave the store or she will call the police!!! Mind you no yelling no getting out of control not even raising my voice!! Ridiculous!!!!

  I am sorry you had such a bad experience. My employee Asia told a different story, one in which you called her names for following the rules and that you did in fact raise your voice. (kind of like with those exclamation points.) The other employee who gave away more free stuff was going against the rules and was retrained on how the coupons works. Consider your friends lucky that day. However, when you call one of my employees names, she has every right to kick you out of the store. I hope the rest of your vacation was better than this experience.

  We needed a jacket for the tour that was leaving in 30 minutes. Found exactly the style and weight with a cool Alaska logo on it for a very good price. Checkout was quick and friendly. We made it to our tour with time to spare. Kudos to this store.
